Introduction 

The Newton Smart Mobility Cities Committee is pleased to invite you to submit abstract and research relevant to smart cities on topics related to the conference theme "Smart Cities Conference: Sharing and Learning among Smart Cities in ASEAN".

 

Purpose 

  • To create a platform for UK and ASEAN countries to share and exchange ideas on Smart Cities.
  • To develop new opportunities and initiatives on Smart Cities within ASEAN.
  • To share the British Council Newton Grant Smart Mobility Cities project findings with a wider ASEAN audience.
  • To highlight future work and collaborations by engaging conference invitees in ASEAN and UK on Smart Cities.

Abstract Submission 

Abstract should be not more than 200 words. The Paper should be written in English. Author must attend and present their article/topic.

Click here to submit your abstract. 

You will be expected to deliver a PowerPoint presentation in reference to your submitted abstract. The duration for each presentation shall be no more than 15 minutes excluding 5 minutes of Q&A.

The presentation should be related to smart cities and you may present work related to your research, field work, ideas and project initiatives for the purpose of sharing and learning.

Post-Graduate students and industries related to smart cities are encouraged to participate and present their ideas. 

 

Registration

During the conference, the registration counter will be opened and located in front of Lecture Theatre 12 (LT12) at Level 1, Taylor's University, Lakeside Campus.
